For the second consecutive year, we have had the magnificent opportunity to attend the World Mobile Congress. One week after its conclusion, it is time to take stock of our experience at Mobile World Congress 2017.
As we did in the last edition, we accepted the invitation from Lanzadera. They offered us to attend this important event. Several members of Emotion Research LAB went to Fira Montjuïc to take place to the position assigned to us in 4YFN (4 Years From Now). This parallel fair for startups has become an unbeatable showcase for entrepreneurs to show their ideas. Managers and investors from all over the world came to take interest in one of the 600 companies that were there.
Our experience at Mobile World Congress 2017. A huge success
A such a strong sector as mobile devices shows all its power in a meeting like this. The numbers overwhelm. 180 thousand attendees from 200 countries. An economic impact of more than 465M€. But, beyond the data, we can say that the congressmen came with the firm purpose of doing business.
The space that was assigned to us was a coming and going of people interested in the technology for measuring emotions. This technological macro-fair allowed us to present our latest novelty. EmotionLab is the solution for mobile devices that adapts the facial recognition platform of emotions. The Android version is already in the Google Play Store. In just two weeks it will also be available for iOS.
Thanks to the previous preparation, we received the visit of different companies that had already scheduled an appointment with one of the members of the company. In this way we were able to cover the demand of those who had requested to see a sample of our software. Thus, representatives of OMD Spain, ADEO, Danone, Lidl, Mapfre, Porsche, SEAT, Samsung, Facebook, Sony and many others came to our meeting.
